Site Rules (MUST READ)

**You are only allowed 4 characters at a time.**

1. Swearing is to be kept at a minimum. OOC, Damn, hell, and the occasional ass are ok, but IC it is preferred that you use only clan language. (Foxheart, mousebrain, etc.)

2. Bullying is a big no-no. If we see bullying the punishment is very harsh. So just don't do it.

3. Do not spam anywhere on the site. This also means you cannot post multiple times in the forums, you can edit.

4. Be respectful to all members. Rudeness is not tolerated.

5. All staff have the power to punish members who do not follow the rules. But, all staff must agree to ban a member permanently.

6. Posting is done only in third person. 

7. There is a two sentence minimum to each IC post. Quotes do not count as a sentence. (That's not a lot.)

8. There is no liquid time, meaning characters cannot be in more than one place at any given time. The only exception is clan leaders. Sometimes they are too busy to do ceremonies, and it would be awful annoying to have to rush their own plots to meet the demands of all the other members.

9. Characters must be either a domestic short hair, or longhair. This means the cat does not belong to any recognized cat breed, or is a mutt, in other terms. The only exception to this is if the cat was previously a kittypet. The only cat breed allowed is siamese. I did my homework, and found out many of them become strays or are abandoned due to their high matinence. But, siamese are known to have many health problems in old age. Keep this in mind if you roleplay one.

10. If your cat begins as a kit, they must be roleplayed a kit for a minimum 4 weeks, and an apprentice another 4 weeks. Also keep track of the age of your cat, since there are passing seasons. Your cat cannot live forever.

11. Powerplaying/godmodding/overpowering roleplay is not tolerated. Your character must have flaws.

12. Ghosting is not tolerated. Ghosting is when you roleplay another member's character without their permission. You must be patient and wait for them to post.

13. If your cat has a disability, such as blindness, deafness, missing limbs, etc, they cannot become a warrior. (or if a wound is inflicted they would become an elder or just a cat not able to continue their duties.) They may receive a warrior name, but cannot complete normal warrior duties. Remember this is supposed to be realistic, and also keep in mind the dangers a cat would face with a disability. They cannot be pro hunters/fighters etc. But they can try their best to serve the clan.

14. Detailed mating is not allowed anywhere on the site. Punishment is severe. You may "fade to black" though. Please tell the staff right away if you see this anywhere.

15. If you have to leave for any amount of time, but do not tell other members about it, you face being dubbed inactive, and taken off the site, after 2 weeks of you being gone. (At the 2 week mark we would first send you a warning.)

16. The clan leader's word is law, and unlike other sites, their word means something here throughout the plot. (though battles must be okayed by the staff) If your cat is too disrespectful or rebellious, they can be kicked out of the clan. All high ranks are to be respected by clan members, as they are in the books. Clan leaders, deputies, and medicine cats can also give orders to their clan members. (If this is abused, severe punishment)

18. Do not copy names. Two kits or apprentices with the same name is fine (Ex: Jaypaw and Jaypaw. Smallkit and Smallkit), but two warrior cat names must be different. Though, it is a good idea to keep similar suffixes out of the same clan.

19. Cats must be original to you. Do not take cats from the warrior series, and naming any the same as ones from the books is not preferred.

20. Only medicine cats cat have an advanced knowledge of herbs.

21. If your medicine cat is discovered having a mate, they can be kicked from the clan, so it is best if your clan mates do not find out.

22. All clan leaders have the right to kick a cat from the clan. (If this power is abused, the punishment is severe.)

23. Cat's personalities must be realistic. For example, they cannot be too nice. If a clan cat finds a loner, they are taught to drive them away, not stop, chit chat, and welcome them into the clan. It is hard for a loner to join the clan without them somehow gaining the trust of the leader. If they are young loners (apprentice age or younger) it is much more likely they will be accepted.

24. Kits must stay in camp. If your kit character is to have a plot where they run away, you must tell staff. Chances are the kit would die within a short amount of time, so kits cannot run away from camp and be gone for hours before being found.

25. Please try to have good grammar. Small errors are okay, but have some pride in your post, make it look pretty and professional.

26. Please list your characters in your signature. (See joining page)

27. Each Clan has a maximum capacity of 30 members. This is to keep it realistic.

28. You are not allowed to ask for a staff position.

29. You may not have all four of your cats in the same clan.

30. You may not have all of your characters as the same gender.
